Localhost online in one command
hatchway http 3000 gives your app an HTTPS address on its own subdomain. WebSockets, streaming and server-sent events work as they do locally.
Open source · Hosted or self-hosted
Hatchway puts a local web server online in one command, and lets you open tunnels to your Raspberry Pi, NAS or home server from one dashboard. Every device decides what it allows.
Early bird: €5 a month after the trial, locked in for the first 500 subscribers. Cancel any time.
$ hatchway http 3000
Hatchway 0.1.0 connecting to hway.run
Web UI: http://127.0.0.1:4041
Forwarding https://myapp.hway.run → localhost:3000
$ hatchway open kitchen-pi tcp localhost:22
Opened on kitchen-pi: tcp://hway.run:20022 → localhost:22
Hatchway is an open-source tunnel service. It does two jobs. First, it gives a service running on your computer, such as a web app on localhost:3000, a public HTTPS address that works from anywhere, so you can share a preview, test webhooks or demo to a client. Second, it connects all your machines to one dashboard, where you can see which are online and open tunnels to their services remotely, without opening ports on your router.

Expose SSH, a database or a game server on a public port with hatchway tcp 22, and limit it to the IP addresses you choose.
Run the agent on each machine. From the dashboard, CLI or API, open a tunnel to any of its services, even when the device is offline: it opens the moment the device reconnects.
Remote control is off until you turn it on, and a device only accepts tunnels to addresses on its own allow list. Your dashboard can't be used to reach the rest of your network.
See every HTTP request with its headers and body, filter by path or status, copy it as curl, and replay a failed webhook after you fix the bug.
Add a password or an IP allow list to any tunnel. Revoke a device's token and it disconnects at once.
Hatchway is a single file for Linux, macOS and Windows, including Raspberry Pi. No runtime or dependencies.
Run hatchway http 3000 on your laptop, or hatchway agent --remote on a machine you want to reach later.
Send the address, watch requests arrive in the inspector, and open or close tunnels on any device from the dashboard.

The first 500 subscribers pay €5 per month for Starter or €15 per month for Fleet, and keep that price for as long as they stay subscribed. The regular prices will be €9 and €25 per month.
Both give localhost a public address. Hatchway's server is open source, so you can host it yourself, and it is built around devices: you can see which of your machines are online and open tunnels on them remotely, limited by an allow list each device controls.
Remote control is off until you turn it on in a device's agent. When it is on, the device only accepts tunnels to addresses on its own allow list, which by default covers only the device itself. Even someone with access to your dashboard cannot use a device to reach the rest of its network.
Yes. The server, agent and dashboard are one open-source binary. Self-hosting is free; the hosted plans add managed servers, a public domain with HTTPS, backups and support.
The agent is a single binary for Linux (x86-64, ARM64 and 32-bit ARM, including Raspberry Pi), macOS and Windows. It needs no other software.
Your tunnels keep working. We email you at 80% and 100% of your monthly traffic and suggest a plan that fits. We never cut off a tunnel without warning.
